    Peanut Butter?

    Hi everyone:

Just wanted to be sure before I offer to my bp - I heard that offering peanut butter for BPs as a treat is okay. Is this true?

I think you need to do some research BP are carnivorous animals feeding on a diet or live or F/T rodents, they are not cat or dog, they don't get or need treat let alone peanut butter.

Eh, I did and didn't come up with anything credible, just some youtubes of people feeding BPs peanut butter. I wanted to consult the experts first. Thanks!

Ball pythons can't even digest vegetable matter. Purely carnivores.

Just out of curiosity, in these videos, were they force feeding the snake? I can't imagine a BP willingly eating peanut butter.

I'd like to see some of these videos. O.o I'm not finding anything in search. Can you post them?

I have searched high and low to find these videos of ball pythons eating peanut butter.....they just aren't there. Please post a link.

Now there are tons of videos of Butter Ball Pythons eating.....but a "butter" is a type of ball python morph...not what it is eating.
