    Best way to get rid of mites

    I've recently came in contact with the pests on my blue eyed luesistic and bumble bee and I have tried the spray wiped down their cage replaced their bedding still no luck

    I've seen some people drown the mites in water.

    But they might be traveling from snake to snake. So when you spray they are still traveling. Just keep it up.

    Since the mites are on two of your snakes I would treat them all.

    Reptile Spray is fine for on-snake treatment but it doesn't persist like permethrin - the active ingredient in NIX/RID/PAM. Reptile Spray is a solution of salts that kills mites by dehydrating them. Once it dries it loses its effectiveness.

    Also expect your snakes to have some bad sheds after using it, as the product also dries out their skin.

    Reptile spray will kill the mites however it will not take care of the eggs, which means guarentee re-infestation in 30 days.

    PAM is the most recommended mite spray which address all stages of the mite life cycle, homemade brew can be used but you MUST know how to mix them.
