DIY Flexwatt Bin/Tub Rack Transition Questions

Hey there,


First post ever.

My glass terrariums with Zoo-Med Heating Pads aren't cutting it for base temp/humidity regulation and efficient space utilization.

My plan is to DIY an open wooden rack with Flexwatt for belly heat hotspots and a space heater for an ambient room temp.

I got the biggest bins I could find but their design includes indentations beneath which I'd imagine the Flexwatt won't properly heat.

Does anyone here have any thoughts on how to make it work?

Most all of the Sterilite tubs have a raise bottom....... changes nothing on a regulated system

Itll work! Lots of people use sterlite tubs. Im sure thats what your talking about. You may nees to bump up your thermostat to compensate for the "lip" on the tubs

Also that the bottom of the tub does go own with weight on it....

Here's the tub I have.
It's got .25" deep indentations all along its length, and I've got 11" wide flexwatt to put along one end...
