How Can I Breed For An Albino Piebald Ball Python?

There are a few ways. From scratch you breed a pied to an albino then breed the babies to one another for a 1/16 chance with each egg to hit the double recessive. Or get a pied het albino and/or and albino het pied

Actually I just bought an Albino Pied male. Once you get one you can do all kinds of crazy stuff with him. I'm thinking of breeding him to another double recessive such as a Ghost x Clown. All the babies would look normal but would actually be quadruple het for Clown x Ghost x Albino x Pied. Not only would that be great to prove out recessives from other snakes but if I were to breed them together I would get all kinds of crazy stuff including more albino pieds. Here's the stats on that pairing. The crown jewel with a 1/256 chance would be an albino clown ghost pied!

That's amazing with the almost unlimited possibilities! I wonder if the high number of genetic material would detract from the beauty of some though. Very interesting projects. Thanks for posting this.

To get an albino Pied you need to breed a Double Het Albino Pied to another Double Het Albino Pied this will yeld one into 16 chance to produce one.

This will be the most budget friendly way to do it but is could take years before you produce one.

With the price of Albino Het Pied Females (Lower Price than Pied Het Albino), I would get a female and in a year or so get a male Pied Het Albino which would seriously increase your chances of producing an Albino Pied.

I produced mine from Pied Het Albino x Double Het Albino Pied which also yeld better odds than the first option. So picking up a double het female is also an option.

Yep you can do that, it's a long road but very rewarding, that's how I produced my females DH, I just cheated a little and bought a male Pied Het Albino when they were ready
