    Re: Hatchling live to f/t

Did you know the animal was feeding live and was not converted to f/t before acquiring it?

I'm only consider a F/T feeder an animal that ate 3 to 5 F/T consecutively and successfully (the more the better really), if not that the animal is a live feeder.

The bottom line is that even if your snake eats f/t you should always be prepared to feed live and if the food supply is not available around you this is an issue.

Buying a snake is different than buying a dog you should always make sure that there is a food supply nearby or be ready to breed and make sure to have a qualified herp vet nearby or be willing to drive long ways.
