    Ruppel Pastel Calicos

I produced two Ruppel Line Pastel Calicos this your, both males. One looks like a typical high white calico, but the other has a ton of blushing. After speaking to the originator of this line Stan Ruppel, these appear to be the first of this combo, using this line of Pastel.

Love that high white one! Does Ruppel pastel just tend to be a bolder gold than normal pastel?

    Re: Ruppel Pastel Calicos

From the two combos I have personally produced, I would say the Ruppel Line keeps it's higher yellow colors better. I produced a Ruppel Pastel Genetic Stripe last year and he's still holding his colors. I also have a Ruppel Pastel Het Yellow Hypo that rivals Fireflies in coloration.

These are cell phone pics of the Ruppel Genetic Stripe and Ruppel Het Hypo.
