Ok i just got 3 of these guys today. This is the only one that i am concerned about. He look like he has blood on his belley. I have never seen anything like this. I tried to wash it off with a little bit of soap and water in one spot but it did not come off. Will it come off when he sheds or should i try and soak him to see if it will come off. The first 2 pics dont show very well because of the flash and the other 2 are without flash but they are a little blurry. The last one is a close up.

It looks like it might be a case of scale rot. A trip to the vet might not be a bad idea. You said you just got these three guys today, where did you get them from? Do you have any idea of the conditions they were kept in? For the time being, i would switch over to a paper towel or newspaper substrate and change it out whenever it gets wet. Scale rot is definitely treatable and does disappear with a couple of sheds, but it is important that you dont allow him/her to lay in a wet substrate. If it were me, i would see what a vet has to say.

Looks like a burn precipitating a shed to me. I'd treat w/ paper substrate, Neosporin, and keeping an eye on it.

I got them off a guy in Ohio. He said that they were all housed together(big no-no) and this is the only one this way. He getting ready to shed so i am going to soak him and see if i can get some of it off. If not i am going to let him shed and then if it is still there i am going to take him to the vet.

Did he have it on a heat rock? At first i thought it might be scale rot, until Marla pointed out a burn. Does it seem to be tender to him/her?

When I got my 2nd BP Cheetah, he had burns on his body from a hot rock. Though my BP's coloring on its belly were alot darker and had some actuall scarring from the burns, these pictures do look like burn marks. Cant say for sure but looks alot like burns like Marla said.

Does your BP seem a little stiff? Can he bend like he should be able to? My BP was unable to bend certain parts of his body due to the burns.

i have no clue what it could be (scale rot or burns) but i know it looks painful

i think your best bet would be to get it checked out by a good vet.
