Optimum dimensions? 3'x1.5' (with about a foot headroom) will comfortably house most adult BP's.

I actually looked for a serilite one that size on the sterilte web page and I couldn't find one. It seems like they are going to be just shy of that in length, in sterilite and longer than that in the other companies, or a few inches shorter. Grr. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place? Some are long enough but not nearly tall enough.

I got mine from Walmart and it's a good 3ft long. My bp is just a baby (month and a half old) so there is plenty of room in it right now.

Yep - I looked too - they dont have the size I just picked up yesterday on the sterilite site (same size stu just mentioned). You can also try places like (if you have them) BigLots, Dollar General etc.

You found a 3ft long box with over 6 inches of head room at Walmart? I swear, I must be blind I went to wally world a few times and the only ones I could find that were that long were the underbed storage units. I am so frusterated. I did fond a huge rubbermade, but it was all solid colored. Is that the one you are talking about?

I almost missed them - they were up on the top rack square, clear, ivory colored lid - looked like they might be in the process of phasing them out in favor of the oddly shaped one with the handle clamps instead.
