I would still make him aware of his mistake because it pretty basic stuff and if he does not have those basics down in no time there will be a bunch of unhappy customers.
If you are happy with the snake tell him that you are happy and do not want anything from him but that as a courtesy you want to let him know that there is no Mojave in that snake and that if there had been the snake would be white. Maybe that will encourage him to take a step back and start doing some research, though he should have done that before deciding to put two snakes together.
Are you sure the display box didn't maybe have a second snake in it at one point and that's why mojave was there? I'm just realllly hoping a "breeder" isn't that dumb to think lesser Mojo or that crappy to lie if he knew otherwise.

He wrote "Lesser Mojave Woma" on the business card he gave me. I talked to him after via text but I didn't get very far in convincing him the snake has no Mojave in it. Who knows what he's thinking.
I doubt he was the breeder for your snake, the price is off and he clearly doesn't know what he has. It wouldn't be far fetched if he got the BP in a trade and just had it on his table. Some breeders buy or trade bulk to add something different to their table. A few years ago I picked up my pastave for $30 because the vendor had gotten it in a trade for some leos and thought it was a lesser. I told him it looked more Mojave to me and he said he wasn't sure but priced it basis the cost of the geckos he traded for a lot of BPs. I went home very happy but had him quarantined for 6 months, fast forward to present day he has sired by first ever clutch of 5 eggs with a set of twins.
