I actually get the female next week, will probably wait a week to let her settle in and then try to put them together. I'm planning on putting the male and female together Mon - Friday and giving a break on Saturday, feeding on Sunday, then putting back together the next Monday (on and on until the female is really gravid). The female is about 2500 grams so I should get a good number of eggs. I'm guessing I'll have some babies next spring.
Here's what a hybrid looks like, I'm hoping some of my ball python genes will reduce and intensify the pattern:
