    I would take him to a vet ASAP.

    It would be hard to guess his age even with pictures as every ball python grows differently gram by gram. Also, if he was at petco/smart, odds are he was not eating correctly. On the feeding chart they gave you, does it have his past feedings while they have housed the BP? This may help approximate how long Petsmart had him but not his age.

    All that aside, little one needs a vet. I would refrain from pressing on the bulge until xrayed.

    I find the Ball Python Care sheet by Bp.net admin to be extremely informative and touches base on anything a beginner owner should know about owning ball pythons.

    Make sure you become familiar with a Herp vet close to you
