Am I stressing my ball python out?

Ok, so I've noticed that sometimes, when my ball python isn't hiding, she seems to stare at me. As in she'll have half of her body in her hide, and the other half looking directly at me. The only place I was able to put her was the living room, which is where I happen to spend most of my time. Is my snake stressed about my presence and too afraid to move any further? Or is she just sleeping. The lack of eyelids can be very confusing as you can imagine.

If her head is up off the ground then she's paying attention, if she's just laying there she's probably chill.

My girl used to do this before I increased her food size, she had also started to get more active days earlier then I expected her to which is another reason I increased her portions. So, maybe she's hungry?

Sounds like she's chilling. Is she eating well? An eating ball python is often a happy ball python.

She eats like a champ. In the three months I've bad her, she's only refused a meal twice.

Sounds like she's just hanging out. Either relaxing or sleeping..... but we can't tell because of the eyelid thing.
I always wonder how they sleep like that....does everything just kinda black out for them, or can they still see but aren't really "aware"...
