Wouldn't do any good - folks would have to invoke it manually - and that would require almost as much effort as re-reading one's post or copy/pasting to an app that did have a spell checker

I'll check into it nonetheless - I know as things are currently modded/configured that option is not currently available in the WYSIWIG editor.
