I have a 48" Hotbox. My only issue was that the PVC on the door warped slightly creating a gap between it and the rubber seal. Chris sent me an additional set of hinges within the week completely free of charge and I haven't looked back since. 100% would buy again.

I have the Nature's Spirit and it was almost foolproof, but I am an exceptional fool. I plugged in the fan and not the heat once, and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. Other than my mistake, it's worked like a dream. I like the clear door and the shelving works great. Highly reccomend.

    Is this a common issue?

It's the only time I've heard of it. And, reading my post again, I meant to say new latches - not hinges.

First thing is what are your specific needs? A few clutches or do you see yourself with 20 or more in the future.

While you can always buy more incubator, to me getting an incubator you can grow into is very important so while nature spirit are great it does not fit my needs (little too small for me).

Hotbox comes in different sizes and are really solid incubators I got to see them in person several times, know Chris well and is products are solid whether it's racks (which I own) or incubators. His lead time and customer service are also the best in the industry.

I mean i sent him 3-4 emails and till this day still received no response, this was part of the reason i was leaning towards nature spirit. I guess ill try and send another email but i wont hold my breathe on a response.

Chris is very busy shows every weekend than back to the shop to build & ship orders the best way to get a hold of him is to call and leave a message.

That's the best way to get in touch.

Chris makes some great products. I bought a custom V-35 short/V-18/V-15 rack from him and he was great to work with. Like Deborah said, he responded better to calls/text messages than he did emails.

Nature's Spirit IS small, so if you're going to keep going in ball pythons like most serious hobbiests, you'll outgrow it.
