None of my GTP's ever even tried to bite me. I have however been tagged by many other species and by far the worst was a very large male bar necked scrub python (over 9 feet). His head was the size of a shoebox and his teeth were very long. Fortunately he did not wrap and his teeth were more like a bunch of needles verses a saw so there was not much tissue damage, just a lot of puncture wounds. My forearm ached for a week after that. He gave no warning either, he was just chilling while I was holding him. He turned around as if he was going to climb on my arm. He moved over, licked bit and released. No strike or aggressive behavior other than the bite and afterward he returned to normal behavior. Almost like he just wanted me to know what he could do if he wanted.
