Does anyone see a subtle morph in this hatchling?
[/URL]
This is a baby I produced in earlier this year and sold off as a "normal" a long time ago, even though I thought he kind of looked like a subtle morph of some kind. He is from a pewter pied X het pied pairing, so he's 100% het pied. I suspect his sire might be more than just pewter pied, as he has produced some other offspring that look like they may have more morph genes than expected, and I think it might be easiest to ID what it is on the most "normal" one rather than combos if there is something more going on. I didn't think to take a belly photo of this one before I sold him, but does anybody see a subtle morph here?

I honestly just see a normal. Then again, if you go on the morph list there are 4 or 5 snakes listed as codom with super forms and both the codom and super look like normals to me.
Ball Pythons 1.1 Lesser, Pastel
1.0 Lesser Pastel, 0.0.7 mixed babies

This is one of his sisters from the same clutch that I kept. She is very bright, and I have had a quite a few people tell me that she looks like she has something else besides pastel and pied in her; some suggesting that is might be yellow belly. But I just don't know....

I don't know all too much about the subtle differences in morphs, but that normal-or-not up there has some insane contrast going on! Very dark patterning

Hey Wendy, you sold me that lovely pastel het pied girl. I definitely agree you have something in that pewter pied of yours!

Yeah, she's another sibling that just looks like she just may have another gene in her with all that blushing and contrast. Here's one of her baby photos:

I did manage to find a post shed photo of the "normal" male after his first shed, which kind of shows his flames, contrast and head pattern better. Still wish I had a belly photo, though!

Could you contact the buyer and ask for a belly shot?
