Question about Super Coral Glows and Super Bananas

Would Super Bananas and Super Coral Glows Males be able to produce normal ratios of males and females or would they be Male makers or Female makers as in Regular Coral Glows and Regular Bananas?

    Thanks

I think it would be a normal ratio. Hopefully I can add a female to my collection soon and find out!

Re: Question about Super Coral Glows and Super Bananas

This is a tricky one. A male produced by a male is a male maker but a male from a female is a female maker. So it should produce both male and female offspring but there is no guarantee. I hope someone else chimes in on this as I'm now pondering the same thing.

Can't really answer it yet as we don't know the mechanics behind the banana anomaly. I'm sure once enough males are produced from supers and they are bred, we will have statistics that will give some insight. My guess is that the supers will make both male and female makers, but that's just a big guess based off of many assumptions.

Re: Question about Super Coral Glows and Super Bananas

From my understanding, if you breed two banana/cg's together, the super banana would be based on the male- male or female maker. I'm not 100% sure, but I know Mike Wilbanks made a video trying to explain it.

Believe me, that video still confuses me as well. I'm not sure where he's getting a 1 in 8 chance of producing a super banana by breeding banana to banana rather than 1 in 4 like any other co-dom X co-dom

It would be 1 in 8. The other 1 in 8 would be the opposite gender from the male's B/CG parent
    Ball Pythons 1.1 Lesser, Pastel
1.0 Lesser Pastel, 0.0.7 mixed babies
