Do you have a dream snake?

My spider thread the other day, despite getting more answers than I bargained for, made me feel okay about spinner blasts. So they're up there with coral glows, mystic potions, super pastels... I could go on and on, but I guess I prefer slightly unusual colors.

Unfortunately I don't really have funds for another snake at the moment, so I can only sigh over pictures. I love a lot of Bob Clark's morphs, and Royal Constrictor Designs is super fun to browse. (Or super frustrating if you can't buy anything...)

What would you get if you could have any BP you want?

Re: Do you have a dream snake?

If it had to be a ball python, I'd say a Banana, Spider, Enchi or an Blue Eyed Luecistic, both of which I expect to own realistically within the next few years.

If I could currently have any snake in the world it would be a second or thir generation Lavender Albino Dwarf Reticulated Python. Love the retic color phases, and love the mid sized dwarf packaging. I have been given the impression that breeding drawrf and super dwarf reticus to mainlands to get the mutations, and then back to the localities helps bring the size back down.

I suppose it doesn't HAVE to be a BP, but I'm always trying to learn new BP morphs so it's educational, too ... Oh I forgot to add firefly. Oops. Apparently I really like yellow.

Re: Do you have a dream snake?

I'm currently in the process of working that out. Right now I'm looking for ball pythons to get to breed with my recent hatchlings, and if one of my lesser pastels is a girl and one is a boy I'll be breeding them and trying to propogate my super spinal pattern (straight line connected to the eyebrows and jaw like my one lesser pastel). Mostly after breeding and seeing this line appear in one, almost 2, snakes, I want to start crossing that with other morphs. At the moment I'm really thinking a black pastel pastel with something else needs to come in to get bred with this line.

There are some genes I don't want to work with, but others I'm really excited to

Lol...mine changes just about every 6-8 months. First dream snake was a Bumble Bee. This was back in 2007 when I first into the hobby. I had never seen a BP so bright. It was amazing. I ended up producing my first in 2010.

For ball pythons, has to be axanthic killer bee... Definitely my favorite BP morph in existence right now!

For ANY snake, I'm getting one of my dream snakes in TWO DAYS! An absolutely beautiful 2007 aru green tree python, exactly the coloration I always wanted, and which I will post pictures of once she's here!

Otherwise, Boelen's Python when I ever have the room and enclosure for that size animal.
