As you can see, they're just made out of old boxes laying around the house. Nothing too difficult.

Have you considered putting some background up? I know it stresses both my girls out a lot less when they have something covering at least 2 sides of their tank.

So, how fun is it to clean that astroturf? Or do you just replace it everytime Rex dooks?

You can always have a few pieces to rotate - with bleach and enough water pressure it's no big deal to clean.
