    thermometer

if your heat source is down low i would stick it there. you know those types are real inaccurate. i would go to walmart and get a digital type that has a probe for 10-15 bucks. but any thermometer
is better than none. they are in the home/hardware section. also get some kind of thermostat to regulate the heat source if you don't have one already.

    thanks

you can try the inside but the snake may bump it and move it around. is this one of those sticky kinds that adhere to the glass?

    thanks

id say on the inside, where the heat source would be

yeah, they arent the best, so id try to get a digital one, the Acurite type, it has 2 temp readings (they are "inside" and "out", but we use them for "hot side" and "cold")

    also it has a hygro.
