Python shedding?
Hey everyone, I just picked up a BP a little under a month ago and am a bit worried about him. He's been eating small adult mice once a week and in a small terrarium currently with a hide, water dish and heat lamp. I've been keeping his water fresh and he seems pretty well settled in to his current enclosure. Everything I've read makes me think he's about to shed, but I could be wrong. I've read that they shed 4-6 weeks when they're younger.
Usually he's in his hide whenever I check on him, but now he's out by his dish under the heat lamp and he's starting to wrinkle and his colors have dulled. Just wanted to see what your guys' thoughts are on this. Last thing I want to do is screw something up.

He's getting ready to shed what I do is bump my humidity up to 75%-80% I found this helps my snakes shed in one piece.Make sure you have at least two hides in the enclosure one on each end. Then make sure you have something rough for him to rub on to help take the old skin off.

I'll make sure to do that. I have substrate in the tank right now, so that should help him shed. I've also been misting the tank every few days, but I'll start doing it more frequently now. Thanks for the help.
