    Breeding Question

Hi all, this is my first post and I am new to the actual breeding process. I purchased a proven female that had been put with a male shortly before I received her and shortly after I got her I put my own male with her a few times. I never witnessed a lock. She seemed to be on a feeding frenzy the last few weeks always looking and accepting, even taking her first f/t without pause. Now she is acting kind of shy and has spent the entire day wrapped around her bowl. My main question is, is she building follicles and I need to keep placing the male with her or is she done? I've read A LOT and watched some videos but some conflicting opinions have left me with questions. Thanks in advance for any help and information.

    Re: Breeding Question

Keep pairing until you see an obvious ovulation. If you witness a lock, once a month together is plenty. If not, you can go for every other week if you'd like (and your male can handle it).
