    "Hobby lobby" plastic plants

Are these plastic plants and vines safe to use? Pets store ones getting ridiculous in price. My wife had some vines that looked awesome.

That's what I use. Wash and let dry before use though---don't know what they have on them. I feel like all-plastic plants are too scratchy, but since you mention vines and stuff I assume you mean those made with silk and plastic.

Just make sure some don't have parts that can fall off and some how he eats it.. also some of the plants in craft stores have wire in them and there more visible. I had one that a piece was sticking out. Didn't relize it till i stuck my finger with it. Rather my finger then my snake

You can get plants from hobby/craft stores like Hobby Lobby or Michaels. Just make sure that:
    - there are no wires sticking out or sharp edges that can cut your snake, and
    - there are no loops of plastic that your snake can get caught in.

I remember reading a while ago, can't remember if it was here or Facebook, where someone's snake had gotten caught in one of those thin plastic near-transparent loops that is normally used to attach a price tag or label; the tag had been removed before she bought the plant and she didn't realize the plastic loop was on it. So, go over the plant with a fine-tooth comb to make sure it's safe for your snake.

I buy vines/plants from the dollar store sometimes. Then I don't feel bad if they get pooped on and I don't feel like scrubbing it so I just pitch it. Good call about triple checking for all of the mentioned above. I can see how the price tag piece could have been missed and done that!
