Switching live to frozen

I got my 9 year old male ball python 2 weeks and 1 day ago. I've been focusing on just making him completely happy. He's been very active at night. I've researched a ton on ball pythons. He's eaten live Rats his whole adult life but I would much rather switch him to frozen rats. How can I do this? I've been very stressed about this. I need advice now!

BP's differ, one common trick i've heard that works and I have had many successful temps to feel them thawed myself. You thaw out the feeder in warm water, then you take a hair drier and aim the hair drier at the feeders head for a minute or two. Make sure you aim the hair drier so that your BP can smell the feeder as well as aim it on the head of the feeder. After a minute or two, or if you have a tempt gun, when the head is 100F try and feed it to your BP, there's a couple different ways to try and feed it. You can take tongs and either one, dangle it in front of your BP, or two drop it near your BP and or right outside of your BP's hide. Also, treat the frozen feeder as your own food, there's only a couple of times you can re-freeze it until it goes bad. Good Luck!
