Usally on the warm side. You could make one out out a Rubbermaid style container. By cutting a hole on the side or top. And placing a folded paper towel on the bottom, and filling the rest with damp sphagnum moss. Or filling the hide with damp sphagnum moss. And yes like the previous post states the moisture will wick to what ever it touches. If you need more detail, just ask.
