How Would You Pair My Snakes?

The males are in blue and the females are in pink in my signature. Obviously, I will be making a lot of het. clowns and het. pieds to breed to one another in the future. I had specific goals in mind when I bought them, but then I see combinations that other people made with the "ingredients" that I already have that look awesome, that I would have never thought of pairing originally. So, what kind of cool pairings could I make with what I already have?

Thanks, I like the thought of having combos that not everyone seems to be doing. I took the 2013 season to work on my own hets. From that season I held back a pair of OD het pieds, 0.1 Pastel yb het pied, 0.1 lemonblast het pied and a 1.0 yb het pied. So I think that taking the opportunity to make some nice combos like artist&writer has the chance to do, she'll be set up nicely for years to come.

Thank you for your feedback! Anyone else want to take a shot at it? The hypo butter enchi to ph enchi was a no go last year. I'll try it again next year. I saw some of JKR's od leopard clown stuff, so I'll definitely have to try something like that. Also, someone posted a cg cini yb that looked awesome as well.

The idea of that hypo butter enchi paired with the cinnamon yellow belly makes me all warm and giddy inside.

Re: How Would You Pair My Snakes?

I'd go with the Pumpkin pied to both OD (especially the enchi) ... I personally love the enchi OD combo with peids.
    1.0 pewter bee
    1.0 banana het pied
    0.1 pied
    1.1 mahogany
    0.1 golden retriever

    Nice collection for starters.

IMHO, I would upgrade on the 1.0 Clown. Seems a waste of good females just to make Hets of the same. Generally you would want to pair a higher powered male to a female. Pairing a $400 1.0 Clown to any of your females (except MAYBE to make DH animals) is a waste.

With the Pastel YB, Cinny YB, and Lesser YB, I would really consider picking up a 1.0 GHI Pastel or something to make some cool GHI stuff.

Hypo Butter Enchi x Enchi 66% PH Hypo

Hypo Butter Enchi x Black Pastel Champagne Het. Hypo

    Firefly Calico x Pastel Yellowbelly

    Firefly Calico x Lesser Yellowbelly

    Firefly Calico x Cinnamon Yellowbelly

    Clown x Russo

    Clown x Leopard Pinstripe

    Clown x Potion Spotnose

Coral Glow Het. Axanthic x Axanthic

Hypo Butter Enchi x Blackhead Het. Hypo

    Clown x Marvel Mojave

Butter/Russo BEL Het. Hypo Pos. Enchi

Hypo Butter Enchi x Orange Dream Enchi

CD Constrictors- Are you going to be at the Daytona show next month? If so, hopefully we will get a chance to chat! Yeah, I want to buy something with GHI in it, and I have been looking for months, but have not found the "right" one yet! As for the male clown, I looked for months for the one I liked the best on him too, but clown + morphs tend to be quite pricey, so I just picked up one that would fit my breeding plans the best. I would like to pick up some additional het girls, if I can find the right ones.
