It could be worse, I had to take a trip and unknowing to me my corn snake was developing slug eggs, bearing in mind only corn snake I had none others near her since she left the pet shop. So I go away and my entire family freaks out at seeing the infertile eggs, At this point when they call me and describe them I tell them that their eggs but wasn't believed so I get back from my trip and take a look at the preserved eggs and confirm that yes they were infertile eggs. My family all assumed that eggs had to look like that of a chickens egg, it took me pointing out that if a snake produced eggs like that of a chicken it wouldn't be able to move and the shape also wouldn't work well for them to believe me.
