    My snake might be a ninja

    Just a quick question..

    Can snakes see light? I know they sense infrared or see infrared, whichever. But I have this regular reading lamp that I turn on sometimes to check his enclosure at night. I don't keep it on all the time, but I do notice that whenever lights are on at night, he never comes out. Or if he does come out, he moves from hide to hide like a sneaky little ninja lol.

    Any response will be helpful!

    They sense heat (infrared radiation) with heat pits but they see with the normal light spectrum with thier eyes.
