Now he's set up in a 6qt sterilite. The uth from my glass tank seems to be working with the thermostat probe buried in the sterilite. I couldn't find a plant saucer so I used one of the cups from a plastic "coconut bra" in its place, and a little Pyrex cup for water. He was super agitated when I went to move him and wouldn't slither into the hide so I just put him down and sat it on top.

I called the guy I got him from and he told me Juju was fed two days before I picked him up (even though originally I was told Sunday was feed day and I got him on a Friday). He says he's going to set me up with the person he buys mice from, but if that falls through I found someone 2 hours away that has hoppers.

Thank you for the input everyone.

Why? It's buried under substrate and secured to the base of the container. How else would I use it but to keep the temperature near the snake appropriate?

Urine or water can and will change the reading of the probe.
