Sanji now weighs 205 grams and is eating only adult mice. At this rate, he may be ready to move into his T12 by fall! Nymeria is almost ready for weaned rats, so I'll have some on hand when he's ready.

The most recent pictures:

I turned my hand so that I could get a better angle with the camera, and he held his position long enough for me to get a photo.

What I'm calling his black walls. They were especially dark that day, they looked like black strips running down his side. They usually aren't this dark.

I can no longer cover him with both hands. My fingers overlap, but he pushes my fingers apart. (Unfortunately I needed one hand to operate the camera.)

Sanji has grown so much, he's now officially been bumped up to jumbo mice! 2 days later, and the bulge was gone, so I think he can handle it.
I've also switched his and Morzan's tubs around since Morzan doesn't need all that extra space and Sanji definitely does. Another foot and he should be big enough for his own 4'x2', he just looks so tiny and noodly in one right now.
From an hour or two after eating, the bulge was small enough I'm comfortable going ahead and moving him up.

2 days later.

Sanji now weighs 257 grams, and SerpWidgets says he's 3'2" long. It won't be long before he's large enough for weaned rats! I'm going to give him just a bit more time, since weaned rats are only a tad bit bigger than jumbo mice.

Sanji weighed in at 300 grams about a week ago! He's really hitting a growth spurt now. At this rate, he may actually be ready for a T12 by sometime next year. I'll give him a bit more time before I attempt a weaned rat.

Sanji is currently in shed, I plan on getting details once he sheds. He'll probably be a little lighter since he hasn't eaten in a month between biweekly feedings and going into shed, but he'll still be close.

Here he actually looks his size - right around 3.5' according to SerpWidgets.

You can see his shed to the right.

BRBs have such smooth scales.

I weighed him after a shed and a poop, and he came in at 314 grams.

Wow the app is terrible about sending updates, so this is super late. But yeah, a lot of my updated photos are taken together, or at least over a 2 day span, unless I fall behind on uploading them.
Here are photos from January, from either the first or one of the first times he got a weaned rat.

And these photos are more recent, the last two are from today, the other one was from a week or so ago.
I also keep forgetting to record weights, so I'll have to re-weigh him when he poops, but Sanji is still clearly growing. He should be ready for his own 4'x2' by end of the year for sure it seems. He's still too small for me to put in there yet, just because he takes up so little space due to his small girth, but he's closing in on 4' now. I think his last length measurement was 3'8" several months ago.

These ones are from today, he also ate yesterday, and he may be ready for smalls by the time he turns 3. My rainbows move up in prey size a lot slower, though, because of their thinner girth. But, as you can see, the weaned rats make only a small bulge (and mostly in height), so once small rats barely leave a bulge I'll move him up.

New Arrival
Stunning , love BRBs ....
I dream of having a Hypo Hi Red / Orange but they're about 5 times the usual cost in the uk and pretty hard to locate anyways .
As regards uploading photos , get yourself the free TapaTalk app , more or less one-click photo upload option
