    Thanks everyone for the comments! I definitely enjoy maternal incubation and observing natural behaviors. It's interesting to note in my experience that while incubating the eggs, moms are usually more defensive but once the babies hatch they are docile! I'm always able to pick up the babies without mom striking or even hissing.

    Awesome odds in that clutch. One day I want to try maternal incubation looks like it'll be cool to try for the experience

    Go for it! It's so much easier than incubating eggs artificially. I've seen people do all types of fancy incubation techniques and calculations when really nature knows best! If you have good husbandry/temperatures and understand humidity and air circulation, the eggs will hatch~!
