Looks like retained caps to me. Dehydrated snake eyes have more of a wrinkled or dented look to them.

This could also just be dented eye caps. Which is easily remedied by increasing the humidity asap and then maintaining optimal humidity percentages.

These two guys are at the zoo I work at but I'm mostly asking cause my girl at home has developed one eye that looks like this. She shed about a month ago and her both caps were attached to the shed but one eye still looked a little funny. :/ her humidity has been hovering around 67-70% for the past two months so I'm not sure if it's another cap that was retained from a previous shed and still hasn't come off, or what. I'm too scared to mess with it in case it's her good cap.
