Feeding
In general, if a ball appears to still be hungry and hunting after one mouse or rat, do you give them a second?

If you have fed your snake the size prey it should be eating then no. One and done.
If it wasn't big enough then yes.
If you stick with mice instead of rats then sooner or later you will have to feed 2 or more because mice don't grow big enough just to feed one.

Re: Feeding
My big girl is on medium rats, have fuzzy rats and small mice for the younger crew, I think next order will have to go up a size as my 2 boys will take 2 mice if offered. And if they refuse a feeding, my big girl is always willing to have a 2 mouse snack after her rat!

Because she is willing and able does not means she should or needs to, one thing with adults in captivity they are often overfed, than people complain because they fast, stick to a medium rat once a week it's more than enough. Also I would not recommend going back and forth between rat and mice because sooner or later she will get stuck on mice.
I have females in the 3500 / 4000 grams range they never get anything more than 150 grams weekly if that gives you an idea, could they eat more or larger prey? Yes, should they or do they need too? NO
