Caught in the ACT!
Just now (Saturday night, 10:30 EST) finally caught Irwin shedding! I always find him all finished in the morning and feel like i missed a neat magic show or something. Of course he has conveniently decided to do it inside his hide, so i actually could just barley see what he was doing, and only with my little red flashlight since its nighty-night time for him, BUT STILL! I got him!
On a more serious note, this shed is has been particularly tough for me b/c last i handled him about 5 or 6 days ago when he was just starting to get blue, i thought his tongue forks were not as separated as usual and immediately freaked out and assumed RI. I haven't ruled it out, although he's had no other symptoms, but all the same i decided to give him a break form handling, bump up his temp a few degrees, and wait until he's done with his shed to take him out and give him a closer examination. I just want my buddy back, its been so stressful to only look at him through the window.

I'm fascinated with the shed phase. I was fortunate to watch three of my snakes shed this week.
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.
