Listen to this guys!
Ok so today I was in a reptile store. Im not going to mention any names but I was talking to a guy that works there about pythons ect. I basically told him how interested I am in pythons and how I wanted to start breeding coming soon. This guy basically told me that its not worth it to breed pythons because the python business sucks, and the return on the animals are crap. Little did he know, I want to do this as a hobby, not a job. I love the different morphs and learning as much as possible. I have been handling snakes since I was really young, and have owned many my whole life. What do you guys think?

Odds are unless the guy was the owner of the shop he is not one I would take any sort of business advice from. I will leave it at that.

There are different levels and no the market is not dead the people saying that have poor understanding of the market, do not re-invest in it, and do not adjust to the market as it evolves.
Sure you can breed and lose money, but you can breed, break even and have your hobby pay for itself, you can breed as and extra income and you can breed and make a living out of it, I have several friends that do, it all about your passion commitment and having a plan.
