Re: When is it appropriate to start giving advice about husbandry?

I spent a good amount of time just soaking up info. Deb, Kara and Nate even called me out on some bad info I gave back 8 1/2 years or so ago. I was eager to help but still learning myself and the two weren't conducive to each other at the time. I think it took me a good year of constant reading, TAKING readings reading etc to really get to where I am today where it's more of a second nature thing.

I started with the basics and with guidance from people like Deb, Kara, Nathan and Brian Barczyk (he's a home state boy that made his wealth of knowledge readily available to me via call or text).

There comes a time where it's sometimes blurry the advice to give, I try and stick to the VERY PROVEN basics to newbies but much like Deb over the years I'm VERY outside of the box but it's taken lots of small steps in those directions to get there. I'd say if you dead on know what you're talking about in a response give it a rip if you're wrong the worst that can happen here is someone steps in and corrects the wrong info and it becomes a learning experience

Some People just have a way with Animals what I have always felt is even if the are captive Born they still have an animal Instinct one must always know how to read the animal and beware of triggers, I have a way with animals and have since I was a Child so I understand.. Now I have to admit I let my balls near my face I never thought of the Heat thing and I learned my lesson for the day thats what is so great about this forum you have the Veterans and long time snake people who share their knowledge and we learn and learn and learn...................

Probably guilty as charged and I have not changed a bit , those were the good old days with Kara and Nate on the forum.

I guess it's just this weird balance between wanting to help and being scared that I might be called out really hard. I know it's for a reason but it makes my chest hurt for a bit. But that's ok, I need to learn.

Kara is doing great life got busier for her but she is still breeding bloods. Nate is not into snakes anymore and life got busy for him to he went in the army and is now married and a dad of two beautiful children.

Glad to hear that both of them are doing well. Class acts.
