Ah, you should bet your buddy. All genetically healthy ball pythons have the exact same number of genes I would think.
I know what you meant, but I am technically correct. There are ball pythons in Kevin's (NERD) book that have 7 mutations. I don't know what the record is or how you could even tell at that number.
Hehe, yeah, all BPs have the same number of genes. When I saw the title I was so looking forward to being the first to say something about that, but someone beat me to it. . .
I imagine after 4 or so mutations, they start to look pretty muddy. You might get lucky and one will have nice clear markings, but mostly I think those would be some confused color genes, lol.
