    Woah

So yesterday I went to a reptile store to get some frozen rats for Sammy. While I was there, the store had some new BP's In. I checked out one of the normal's, she didn't behave like a ball python at all! She was very active, always moving around. I accidentally poked her head and she didn't even freak out! This (In my opinion) Is a perfect example of a reptile that is perfect for anyone! Just wanted to share. I plan on taking her home one day, soon I hope!

What was the enclosure like? In my experience a ball python that's always active is uncomfortable somehow, whether its the husbandry, lack of hides, etc

I'm not really sure about this. I have a very active bp and his husbandry is fine. Temps 85-89, humidity from 50-65 usually. 2 hides that it loves and spend all day sleeping in. He spends a lot of time moving and exploring and is very curious. He doesn't quite have the head thing that OP was talking about but he is very active. Unless he had some internal problems he is fine.

That being said I bought him from a pet store so that could be just a thing?
