    Thanks for that question. I'm not certain whether the scales over his eyes came off. I've never attempted to observe that. He did have a very clean shed, in one piece. If the eye scales haven't come off, how do I correct that? From googling I've read that one may apply a dab of mineral oil. Might this work, or have you any other suggestions?

    If the pink is from his hide, I have never noticed it before. He is resting atop his hide. And again, nor have I seen his eyes so grey. Perhaps it's because they should have been shed for awhile now? If this is not due to an incomplete shed, could it be something I should be concerned about, to the point I should see a vet? He does seem a bit sluggish, though perhaps he's disconcerted from the old unshed scales on his eyes. Thanks again
