    Blackhead Project - '16 Results

Here’s a compilation of some really cool Blackheads produced from multiple clutches. I went all-in on the Blackhead project this season pairing six combos. IMO the Blackhead is an under-rated gene, the base-morph actually throws several unique genes which result in interesting variations as witnessed below. I was very fortunate and may have several “first” additions to World of Ball Pythons.

Here’s my first Blackhead-quad (1.0) as it appears I got all four genes in the pairing of a Calico-Pastel x Blackhead-Yellowbelly: (you guys agree?)

Same clutch as above, but take “out” the Yellowbelly and you have a Blackhead-Calico-Pastel (1.0) below:

    Pair of Blackhead-Super Pastel-Fires (1.1) … from a Firebee x Blackhead-Pastel, believe these are a first?

    Very colorful Blackhead-Calico-Yellowbelly (1.0) … pairing was Calico x Blackhead-Yellowbelly:

    Blackhead-Fire-Spider (1.0) … from the Firebee x Blackhead-Pastel clutch:

    Blackhead-Yellowbelly (0.1):

And a pair I previewed earlier … Blackhead Ghost Mojave-Yellowbelly and his cousin, same but non-Ghost variety (2.0):

Man those are some beautiful combs! Well worth the wait! I would say you did hit the quad and many of the snakes pictured have the ringer gene present as well! Congrats!

Ohhh. .. the colors and patterns make me happy that I jumped at the chance of getting my black pastel blackhead.

Love the combos. Keep the photos coming!

I had a chance to pickup some Black Heads this past year and passed on it. You're making me regret that now. Great looking stuff you have.
