New 3 week old bp has snake mites

This is a great reason you need to quarantine any new animals.
By this time you have probably already spread them to your other snake unless you do have a quarantine area?

Spray the Reptile Spray on a towel and rub your new mite infested snake down. Mist the paper towels in its enclosure too.

I appreciate the fact that I need to quarantine, and I've moved him to an area separate from my other snake. But as this is my second snake ever, I wasn't expecting to open the box and find a mite infested snake. Also the directions on the spray specifically say not to use it on animals under 12 weeks, so are you saying I should ignore that warning?
