I don't have a name yet, still trying to decide on one. I have a lot of suggestions from other people but nothing sounds perfect just yet, maybe you guys can help me pick a name? My wife says to name him 'Grizzly' but I don't think that's good for such a gentle dog... I like 'Bear' but my next door neighbor has a dog with that name LOL!

He is 9 weeks old and already drinking out of a five gallon bucket WOW! I had another dog that was half Great Dane and half American Bulldog, he looked just like a brindle colored mastiff, the best dog I ever owned. He died of old age about six months ago, I cried my eyes out for months. I'm finally to the point where I can get another dog. I do have another Rhodesian Ridgeback female that is 'open' and not spayed, we got her at 10 weeks old and grew up with our other dog, she is about five years old, I think we decided not to breed her even though we paid a lot for breeding rights. When he passed away she was devastated, won't even come in the house anymore, totally different personality. She is an outside dog and sits out there all day alone now, it was so sad I just had to get her another friend. She was really aggressive towards this little guy the first couple days, now they sit next to each other on opposite sides of the chain link fence. Still have to keep them separated until I can get this little guy spayed so they don't have puppies. I'm going to bring him to a fourth of July picnic today and just surprise people and show up with the puppy. I'm sure he will be the star of the picnic!

Here's another photo, this was amazing. When I went to pick out the puppy the lady had a litter of 10 dogs, seven of them were males and none of the males were sold yet so I had my pick of the litter. There was another one that I thought had better colors but he growled at me and ran behind the dog house and hid back there, not sure what was up with that dog but I didn't like his personality. The one I picked had the sweetest personality, didn't bite me like the other dogs and came right up to me, had a great balance of colors on his face too which I really liked.
