    Re: Measuring & Increasing Temps?

    Thanks for all the replies!

Temp update: Cool side is 79F & hot is 82.6F and still (supposedly) rising; the lamp has been on for about 3 days (my thermostat is set to 92F), how long does it usually take for temps to adjust?

Alexio: I'm guessing this is pretty much the same stuff? Also, my humidity is perfect at 55%, would the insulation make the tank too humid?

chrid16371: The middle of my CHE is over the hide and the thermostat probe is just outside the hide. The thermometer probe is on the other side of the hide about one inch away, near (but not touching) the glass.

Scottywelsh: I have considered a UTH, but I'd obviously have to get thermostat for it (about £50) and as I've already spent a fair amount of money of my set up I don't really want to get one unless I have to. However, I would definitely buy one if that's what it takes to achieve the correct temps.
