Well that does make me feel a lot less like a weirdo. : ) A reptile room is probably where we'll go...my husband was a "not too many" reptile man when we got married, but the older we get and the more projects I do the more he wants in on the same vivaria hobbies. I'm nuts and map out where ever we live in Google Sketchup so I can arrange furniture and this most recent move all the reptiles have actually ended up in my studio again since they don't benefit from human interaction like the rats do and the home's floorplan is awkward. There's a strong chance of buying the next place we live instead of renting, so I might as well give in and build whatever I'll need to hold whichever cage or aquarium. And invest in a good stepstool.

I was originally trying to be courteous about reptiles in the studio because that's where we always put guests, but I guess if someone can't stand the idea of my snakes or the gentle thumps of jumping geckos in their guest room they'll never consider staying anyway. It DOES keep my spoiled bratty sister in law out of our home.
