Well, I was wrong the last time but not this time. Here is a pic from today and I am certain this is an Ovy. Kind of embarrassed that I was fooled the last time. So this is my first girl to go this year which means I probably won't have anything pipping until October/November. Thanks for looking and I hope everyone elses season is going well.
Whoa! Do we need to have the "don't feed rabbits to your BPs" conversation again?
It's like a domino affect. The first one goes and the second soon follows. Here is my second Ovy of the season just a day after the first. However, not nearly as dramatic in size. I still have two more girls that may or may not go for me this year. I will keep you updated as things progress. Thanks again for looking.
I'm not the biggest fan of pinstripe stuff but that leopard gene makes it go a little wacky in a very good way! Awesome animals!
Thanks. I'm exactly the same. Pin didn't do much for me until I saw it with leopard. Can't wait till the boy actually breeds for me. This year was a bust with him but he's putting on size still so next year should be hopeful.
I woke up this morning and low and behold, eggs! Last year she laid 6 so I am hoping for at least the same this year. This is the YB X Fire pairing. Come on October.
Here goes my second girl of the season. Last year she laid 6 eggs. Hopefully she'll give me the same again. I'm excited about this pairing which you can see in the previous posts of this thread, Lesser het Hypo to Enchi Hypo. Thanks for looking.
Here are the two clutches. The first is the YB to Fire and she laid 5 nice eggs.

The second clutch is the Lesser het Hypo to Enchi Hypo and she gave me 8 huge eggs. The total weight is 958 grams so almost 120 grams per egg. You can really see the difference in size between the two photos based on the tubs being the same size.
