Thanks a lot guys, I really appreciate all your info. I've always heard of Chlorahex. but never tried it, nor did I know it had a shelf life, or ppts. out either.

I may just go with both of Chrid's suggestions. Having a product with a shelf life of that nature defeats the purpose of buying it, when one can use bleach at that point IMO.
