Is this too open?
I've had my first BP for about a month now and recently she started climbing towards the top of her cage a lot, I did some reading and people said that this could be because she feels too exposed. Does this have too much open space? For information, the left side is the heated side with temps ranging from 90-93 and the right side is from 77-80. Her water bowl is in the middle. The heat is from a uth. She also just got done with her first shed (it all came off).

Looks similar to mine. She was exploring her habitat by looking around near the top.
How big is she?

She's a little less than a foot

I would think that as long as both hides are nice and snug for her current size, all should be well. However, I. Also new to the bp world, and want to see what someone else says - both to goce you a definite answer and so that I can learn!

Yes, that's pretty open/exposed. Some will react badly to a set up like that, some won't seem to care. If she eats, poops, and sheds, I wouldn't stress out too much over it. If she's not doing all those things, you'll want to change things up.
You can start by taping black cardboard or foam core to three sides of the glass.

I put my babies in a ten gallon tank with macaroni boxes as hides. They love it. Who would have thought macaroni boxes would make a snake happy. Lol
