ideal humidity for incubation?

Should be 95% or higher. How is your egg tub set up and what kind of hygrometer are you using?

i'm using one of those 6 qt plastic tubs (bought from home depot) with a vermiculite mix. the humidity guage is the kind they sell at petco.

Consider changing the type of tub you are using or add some clear press and seal over the tub top then secure the lid over the press and seal. That always puts my humidity at 99%.
