Three are from TriReptiles. I've been pleased with all of them, though the last one didn't have a 'live animal' sticker on the box, which I wasn't happy about.
Two are from OutbackReptiles, and I was quite pleased with that transaction.
Two, including my Kingsnake, are from BHB. I had a second Kingsnake who I purchased from them at the same time. She turned out to have an internal defect, and died, but I do not think there was any way for them to have known that when I bought her, and I don't consider them in any way responsible. Sometimes, it just happens.
And one is from an individual on here, though she's not in my signature yet, since she's still with him!
There really aren't any local breeders here. Not for BP's at, least - that I've found. I know one guy who breeds Retics, and his partner breeds Burmese, but she is just starting to get into BP's - in fact, I think I actually have more than she does, from what I was told. While amazing animals, Retics and Burmese are just much bigger than I want to try and house or feed.
I love BHB, I've been watching their show over the past month and trying to get caught up They were one of the first ones I considered.
Thanks for the additional experience information! Outback is new to me, as is Tri - I'll have to take a peek at what they have!

Thanks so much for sharing your experience with RCD - I'll take a look there, too!
This helps a lot for my future purchases. Though there are a lot of reptile shops here in Tucson, they never seem to have the specific snake I'm looking for; so it's nice to get an idea of quality breeders that ship.
Unfortunately RCD doesn't carry milk snakes but plenty of bps and a few other species but no milk snakes. It's still worth a look though, you never know you might stumble across something you just need lol that's what happened to me and 60 days and $1000 later....I don't have it yet but I know she was worth every penny.
Good luck with your search!

Re: Have you ordered snakes online?
I have purchased all of my ball pythons online through Facebook auctions (Ben Siegel Reptiles, Gourmet Rodent, Loxahatchee Herp Hatchery) and contacting businesses through Facebook pages with good results. Just make sure that they're reputable breeders.

Both of mine were purchased on line. It's best to check out the seller on the BOI prior to making a purchase. Here's a link:

0.1 bp champagne "Bubbles" the shy one

If you are looking for a black milk keep an eye out for Isis Reptiles posting them. I bought mine from them and she's great. My biggest concern when buying a black milk was that it wouldn't actually be one. But mine has gone through the color change

That's something I've worried about, too! Thanks

I plan to buy my snake online, have bought many fish online over the past several years. As long as you go through a reputable seller who knows how to pack a box correctly you'll be just fine.

I found their ad on kingsnake and I've seen them post more since I bought mine.
Out of 27 I have only bought 3 of my snakes in person. I've never had a problem with any of the others when they were shipped. Just check out their reputation and if they don't have many reviews or are new ask them a lot of questions about their packaging, who they use to ship etc. If you don't get a good feeling from the answers then just don't buy!

BPnet Veteran
Bought all 3 of mine on line. My corn came from a breeder. My first BP came from IBall pythons, he is in Westchester, NY. He was very easy to work with. I met him at a local show, and i fell in love with this boy, but had no set up ready, so for the health of the animal, he kept him for me a few weeks till my set up and temps were stable, then shipped him to me. It was a pleasure working with him. I Got my girl from Mike Willbanks, constrictos unlimited, They run reptile ring, an auction site, If they don't have one being auctioned you like, contact them direct and tell them what you are looking for. My expairience with them was very nice.
