Looking at a female yellow belly or pastel from BHB Reptiles which one should I go for which one would give me more morph combination? This will be my daughter's first snake an mine in 8 year's ...

Single gene is single gene so combos are about the same.

There is endless morph combination with either one, what you need to figure out is what you wan to produce and learn about the genetics.

Pit and Deborah are 100% correct. I would add though if you want to make neat stuff, stay within the Super Stripe Complex (yellow belly). There are a lot of pretty Pastel combos out there but the ALS's that can be made with yellow belly are crazy.
